Getting There

Traveling to Austria by air could not be easier. With an average flying time of only 2 hours to a choice of popular Austrian destinations. Flying to Austria is probably the quickest, easiest and most cost effective travel option. As well as the major airlines, many budget airlines in the UK now offer flights to Austria from most UK main and regional air ports. Many now offer you the opportunity to fly to regional airports which bring you closer to your destination, as well of course flying to the major Austrian cities.

These days with a little planning you can of course drive to your destination, which thanks to an excellent European road network is quite straight forward. However you should plan enough breaks into your journey to allow you to drive safely, and enjoy the experience. For details in relation to Tolls and other charges for driving in Austria please

I would strongly recommend that you have European Breakdown Cover, and ideally Comprehensive Insurance.
